Portrait Session With The Grandparents

A little while ago, a favourite client of mine (who I have photographed 3 times now) purchased a gift certificate for her Mother. The plan was to have a portrait session with the Grandparents and grand kids. I was very keen on the idea and of course was more than happy to oblige.

As you can tell by the images below, grandparents and grand kids share a special bond which was so nice to be a part of. They all had so much fun in this session, as always, the grand kids kept the grandparents on their toes, that’s for sure!

Having memories like these are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the special relationship that these two generations have together. We all know how quickly kids grow up, but so do our parents. How many times have our parents said, “I’d love some nice photos with the grand kids.”. For many grandparents, it’s a second chance at parenting – but with more fun stuff and less responsibility. As it’s often said – It’s great to look after and have fun with the grand kids, but it’s also great to hand them back to the parents. 🙂
