Where does the portrait session take place?

Portrait sessions held outdoors in interesting locations are always best. I have a few great places that I frequent which I love. Having said that, I’m always open to new and interesting locations, so suggest a location and I’ll make it work :)

If you prefer, I can come to your home, and take some photos of your family in familiar surroundings. We can either stay at your home or go somewhere else nearby.

What should we wear on the shoot?

I love bright-coloured clothing for kids, cute dresses and accessories like hats scarves or gloves always look great. For adults, I suggest simple clothing and plain colours, no large logos as they tend to take the attention away from your face, not to mention date over time. I also encourage parents to bring props to the shoot, like your baby's favourite toy, a dress-up outfit or bubbles.

What are my options to reschedule?

You never know who in the family will be sick or unwell leading up to the session, rescheduling is not a problem at all, just give me at least 24 hours' notice.

When will we be able to view the photos from the portrait session?

Editing the photos can take some time, please allow between 1 to 2 weeks until you'll be able to view your photos, I will let you know as soon as they are ready, and depending on which portrait package you choose, I will either send you a link to download all your images, or a link to choose view your favourites.

Can we include our pets in our family portraits?

Including your pets in your portrait session is a great idea, after all, they are part of the family!

What happens after viewing the photos? How can we order?

If you're going "À la carte" and you've had time to view the images online, we can arrange a time to meet, normally over a coffee or hot chocolate. This is where you have an opportunity to choose your favourite shots and chat about different display options.

Once you have made your final decisions, filled in the order form and payment has been made, your products/images will be ready within two weeks.

Can we purchase additional digital files?

Digital Files are available as part of my portrait package options or they can be purchased separately after your portrait session.
