What should we wear on the shoot?
I love bright coloured clothing on kids, cute dresses and accessories like hats scarves or gloves always look great. For adults I suggest jeans and plain tops, no large logos as they tend to take the attention away from your face, not to mention date over time. White and denim are a popular choice. I also encourage parents to bring props to the shoot, like your babies favourite toy, a dress-up outfit or bubbles.
What are my options to reschedule?
You never know who in the family will be sick or unwell leading up to the session, rescheduling is not a problem at all, just give me at least 48 hrs notice.
When will we be able to view the photos from the portrait session?
Editing the photos can take some time, please allow at least 2 weeks for you to be able to view your photos, I will let you know as soon as they are ready, along with your own private password into the client proofing area of my website.
What happens after viewing the photos? How can we order?
After you have viewed the photos online, we arrange a time to meet and discuss the images. This is where you have an opportunity to choose your favourite shots and chat about display options.
Once you have made your final decisions, filled in the order form and payment has been made, your products/images will be ready within two weeks.
Can we purchase the digital files?
The digital files are not available for purchase. All my images are printed in professional labs that have been through my calibrated settings and quality control method. If my files were given away or bought, the image and output quality could be lost. My name and reputation are attached to these images, so it is important to my business that I remain in complete control of them.
However, I do have alternatives; DVD slideshows of your images can be purchased at discounted rates with image that can to be played on computers or your home TV. Alternatively as social networking sites are huge these days I can provide you with low-resolution files for you to post on your favourite sites. These files will be watermarked with the zest foto logo.
